This is a beautiful antique Georgian sterling caster of high quality made by Jabez Daniel & James Mince and hallmarked in London 1767. It is in very good condition with no repair or damage and has been made with a heavy gauge of silver. The lid is very attractively pierced and the caster sits firmly on a raised circular base. Hallmarks are clearly struck both to the base and the lid. Daniel & Mince were specialist caster makers and this is a fine example of their specialism.
