For your consideration is an ANTIQUE GEORGE III STERLING 925 SILVER SADDLE-FORM HANDLED BASKET c. 1794, part of a small group of George III sterling silver holloware i have listed. This fine basket is in su perb condition and the handle and hinge quite sound.

One side of the bowl is engraved with an armorial crest depicting a rampant lion with broad axe. The piece measures 16.5cm/6.5" tall to the raised handle; 10.4cm/4"tall to highest point on rim; 15.5cm/6-1/8 at its longest(rim to rim) and weighs 232grams(7.48oz.
