This label by Joseph Angell I & John Angell I is a wonderful example of early 19th-century English silver. It bears a London hallmark. It measures 5cm by 6cm and retains its original chain. This label is cast silver, like all finest wine label examples. "Port" has been delicately pierced and is surrounded by vine leaves and grapes. At the top of the label is the face of Bacchus.
