This Georgian era Shell and Thread serving spoon by the firm of Eley and Fearn is 8 3/4 and weighs 89 grams, or nearly 3 troy ounces. The spoon is double struck with the shell design front and back. On the front, the crest shows a knight on a galloping horse with sword upright. There is an attractive Georgian block monogram WCH between the hallmarks and the shell on the spoon's back.
