Descrip tion - Splendid 18th century Georgian good gauge solid silver Old English pattern table spoon with bottom struck hallmarks. Made By renowned female silversmith Hester Bateman. Fully hallmarked with the crowned leopards head for London assay, lion passant indicating 92.5 silver fineness, date letter "c" for the year 1778 and the maker's mark "HB" which is Hester Bateman.
