Georgian Sterling Silver Creamer & Sugar Bowl Charles Fox London 1811

A really nice Georgian style sterling silver creamer and large open sugar bowl made by one of the the London silversmiths Charles Fox or Crispin Fuller in 1811. Both were active at this period and used an identical "CF" in a rectangle as their mark.

The creamer is 3-7/8" in diameter, 2-5/8" tall to the top of the rim and 6-3/8 from handle to spout. The sugar bowl is 5" in diameter, 3" tall to the top of the rim and 8 across the handles. They are both marked with English marks "CF", the lion sterling mark, the London mark, "Q" for the year 1811 and the period duty mark. The marks on the sugar are very clear, the marks on the creamer are a bit worn.

They both also have a sword and star mark on top of the handle that may be a family crest. The total weight is between 18 and 19 ozt. The condition is excellent with only a few miniscule dings. They have moderate patina and a nice "old silver" look.
