A rare Georgian solid sterling silver basting spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1794 with the makers marks being that of George Smith (III) & William Fearn. It has been superbly designed and has been engraved with a crest of a swan used by the Lindsay Family. It is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. 11.75 inches (29.5cm) long by 2 inches (5.3cm) wide and weighs an impressive 110 grams. A very high quality piece.
