Sterling London Serving Spoon 1807 (TB) Thomas Wilkes Barker- Hatton Garden 75g

Original 1807 or 1808 Sterling Silver Serving Spoon. British marked Sterling, City London, M date for 1807 marked TB in a square for Thomas Wilkes Barker of the Hatton Garden Workshops of London 1806 Hallmark. An amazing large Serving Spoon while used appears over 200 years later in excellent condition as shown in the photos. Scuffs to back of the bowl and handle.

Sterling is soft so this is expected. None of it detracts from the intrinsic beauty of the silver workmanship creating this spoon. Monogram appears to be DY English script.

Pictures were taken in full sun to show the fine condition, however, there is a bit of reflection from the sun. Heavy for centuries of use at 75.4 grams Sterling Silver. We try to keep this a modest cost.
