A superb sterling silver Georgian tea pot of round form and a large size. The half fluted decoration really does catch the light and the eye. It has been made from a thick gauge of silver which gives it a beautiful deep shine and a heavy feel to handle. It is fully hallmarked sterling silver London 1805.Makers mark of Robert & Samuel Hennell. It is in an excellent condition being free from any repairs or damage. The fruit wood handle and finial are in good order. The handle is tightly fitted and secure.
The inside of the tea pot is in good order. The tea pot hinge is in excellent working order. Some light surface wear as expected for its age and use. 13cm height to the tip of the handle.
