Sterling Silver WINE COASTERS Large Size 1974 C J VANDER London GEORGIAN STYLE
A large, stylish and usable pair of sterling silver and wooden based wine coasters or bottle slides, so called as they can be slid across the furniture. They have been made in the Georgian style with a decorative border and a wonderfully turned wooden base.
They are of the very high quality that you would expect from this maker. Both are fully hallmarked sterling Silver, 1974 London. Makers mark of C J Vander Ltd to both. They are in an excellent condition with no damage or repairs. Felt Lined bases to protect the furniture.
The wooden bases are tight and secure and damage free. Some very light surface wear that is lost in the deep shine.
It will seat a decanter or bottle with a diameter of up to 11.5cm. A superb pair of coasters that will look wonderful when on the table and seating decanters or bottles of wine.
